In this section, we'll break down exactly how we price our socks and why, so you can feel good about your purchase and not have to worry about any sneaky stuff. Currency

At Bearzwear, we offer our products in multiple currencies to make it easier for our customers to shop with us. Our primary currencies are Canadian dollars (CAD) and US dollars (USD), but we also offer the option to pay in Euros (EUR) for customers in Europe. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have limited our wholesale sales to Europe at this time.

Please note that exchange rates can fluctuate and may affect the final price of your purchase. The exchange rate used to determine the final price will be the prevailing rate at the time of purchase. We recommend that you check with your bank or credit card issuer to confirm the exchange rate and any fees that may be associated with currency conversion.​

Applicable Promotions

All Bearzwear promotions, discounts, and special offers are subject to the following rules:

  • Only valid on selected collections or series and items.
  • Valid for a limited time only.
  • Available in selected countries only.
  • Bearzwear reserves the right to withdraw or amend a promotion at any time.
  • Promotions are valid for individual items totaling over $50 CAD.
  • Any promotional discount or code is non-transferable and has no cash value.
  • Any purchase under a promotion is also governed by our general terms and conditions.

Promo Code Usage

Bearzwear has two types of promotional codes:

Auto-apply code

The promotion will be automatically applied at checkout, and a minimum spend applies, which must be spent in a single transaction.

Manual code

The promotional code must be manually entered at checkout, and a minimum spend applies, which must be spent in a single transaction.

Please note that our customer service team is unable to reactivate any expired promotional discounts.

Gift Cards

Bearzwear offers both standard and promotional gift cards, subject to the following terms and conditions:

  • Standard gift cards have no expiration date.
  • Promotional gift cards may carry an expiration date, which will be printed on the card unless prohibited by law.
  • No fees of any kind will be imposed on purchasers or recipients of Bearzwear gift cards.
  • If purchasing a virtual gift card, it will be e-mailed to the recipient once the order is processed and payment is taken.
  • If purchasing a physical gift card, it will be posted to the recipient, and shipping charges will apply.
  • Bearzwear is not liable for any failure or incorrect delivery of a gift card due to the purchaser failing to provide the correct information.
  • Bearzwear is not responsible for any gift card that is lost, stolen, destroyed, or used without permission.
  • Bearzwear reserves the right to cancel a gift card if necessary.
  • Promotion or discount codes cannot be applied to the purchase of a gift card, except for free shipping codes for physical gift card orders.

Product Replacement Vouchers

Product replacement vouchers are issued by Bearzwear in accordance with our limited warranty when repair and refund are not available. 

The vouchers have:

  • No expiration date.
  • No dormancy fees for non-use.
  • No credit, debit, or charge card benefits.
  • Bearzwear is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen product replacement vouchers or any unauthorized use of them.
  • The vouchers cannot be reloaded, refunded, or redeemed for cash, except where required by law.

Price Adjustments

Bearzwear offers a one-time price adjustment if an item is marked down within 14 days of the date of purchase. However, items purchased with a promotional discount are not eligible for price adjustments, and there are no returns or exchanges on final sale merchandise.

Quantity Limitations

Bearzwear merchandise is not authorized for re-sale, and online purchases of limited editions are limited to five items per edition, per customer. The only exceptions to this policy are on articles identified as Open Editions where no quantity restrictions apply.

Sales Tax

Tax charges are based on applicable federal, provincial, and harmonized sales tax rates based on the delivery address. Sales tax will also be applied to shipping and handling charges, and refunds for returned items will include the sales tax paid for that item. However, refunds will not include the sales tax paid on shipping and handling charges, as they are non-refundable once an item has shipped. Payment for Made-to-Order articles

At Bearzwear, we offer made-to-order production for many of our products. This means that we produce the item after it has been ordered, allowing us to offer a wider range of sizes and styles than we could with pre-made inventory. However, due to the nature of made-to-order production, payment in full is required before any production can begin.We understand that this payment policy may be different from what some customers are used to, but it is necessary to ensure that we can provide the highest quality products and timely delivery. By requiring payment in full before production begins, we can ensure that we have the necessary materials and resources to complete your order on time and to your exact specifications.If you have any questions or concerns about our payment policy for made-to-order production, please do not hesitate to contact our customer service team. Litigation

At Bearzwear, we take our legal obligations seriously and are committed to complying with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to taxation. In the event of any legal litigation, including disputes with the provincial government of Quebec, we will cooperate fully with any authorities and follow all relevant legal processes to ensure that our rights and obligations are protected. We believe in transparency and accountability in all of our business operations and will work diligently to resolve any legal issues in a fair and just manner.
